Green Day confirm tour across the UK and Europe for 2017

The American punk-rock band Green Day have announced 15 gigs across the UK and Europe in 2017. This makes it the first tour for fans outside of the USA and Canada since 2013.

The announcement of the tour comes in the wake of their highly-anticipated new album, Revolution Radio. This album features their newest single “Bang Bang”. Readers can find out more about the new single here.

So far, they have announced 14 shows, starting in Italy on January 10th and ending in France on February 3rd. They will also be travelling to Switzerland, Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, France and England.

Fans who want to buy tickets will have to wait until 9AM on September 9 (Friday). To see all dates, go here.

Green Day have been big in the punk-rock scene for years now. Many of us will remember jamming to their incredibly successful album “American Idiot” in 2004. The album included hits such as, “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and hit single “American Idiot”.

Although it’s still months away, we can’t wait to see the band play live again and we hope to see some of you there too!
