How to make your website images pinable for Pinterest

The social network that has had great success with women is Pinterest. The ability to use it as a mood boards for ideas on landscaping your garden, decorating your house, cooking, photography and fashion has lead to its success. If your are selling products aimed at a femaleclientele then Pinterest must be one of your majorsocial media marketing tools. If you sell productsthat are purchased mainly by men then the normal advicehas been to ignore Pinterest and concentrate yourefforts on twitter, Google+ or facebook. Many websites have now installed the"Pin it" button near their images to help Pinterest usersquickly pin images they like of your products to their ownPinterest boards. It will help them come back to yourwebsite once they have made the decision to buy. It willalso enable them to easily show your products to theirfriends. The "Pin it" button can be obtained from thePinterest website under the "Pinterest Goodies" link. 

The normal button enables you add a description of yourproduct and automatically adds the link back to your websiteon the Pinterest users own page.
